Cooling down, little breeze and wine.

1. Walking out of the office into the cool landing.

2. Finding a spot in the shade that catches the breeze on a really hot day.

3. Being invited in to drink muscadet at Caroline and Oli's.

  1. I've been away for a few days. Here's 3 Beautiful Things from my travels:

    1. Visiting my godmother's boutique shop in Shrewsbury. It is only 7 months old but already has a dedicated clientele. She was so excited to show me and so pleased that I loved it.

    2. The breeze in my hair as we travel on a narrow boat to Stratford-upon-Avon.

    3. Meeting 3 new cousins. The twins (non-identical girls) are 6months old, and their boy cousin is nearly 1 year old. They are so sweet and were happy to have their photos taken repeatedly. The little boy's older brother and sister came with us in the narrowboat and expertly showed us how to work the locks - we were suitably impressed!

  3. Hi Katie,

The shop is called Katulia and sells designer clothes, jewellery, and small gifts such as cards, chocolates and moisturising lotions, all sourced from specialist suppliers in places like London, the States and Spain. I recommend a visit!
