Silence, trim and not isolated.

Erin and Shopgirl (who has the most beautiful white rabbit) have both started new blogs in the last few days -- check out A Blessing A Day and Something Good in Everything . And I've added two people who blog 3BT-style to the Roll of Honour -- Talking to Myself in Public and Musings and Confessions . 1. A muffled boom makes the yoga class jump. "What was that?" We are still on edge here in Tunbridge Wells from the bomb scare that cleared the town centre two weeks ago. "It's the eleventh of November, and 11 o' clock." We fold ourselves into child's pose to think of heroes and sacrifices. 2. Such a relief to get my hair cut short. It sits much better now, and I feel as if I am showing the respect I feel for myself. 3. I was afraid that motherhood would be an isolated business -- but this cafe is full of NCT groups jiggling prams and feeding babies.

Bump, hair and jeans.

Wow, thanks for all the frozen food advice! Really appreciate it. 1. I buy a pair of maternity jeans -- after all, the midwife told me: "You really have got a bump now." 2. To find a hairdresser who is willing to cut my hair right now this minute. 3. To take off a new pair of jeans which still have their own idea of shape.

Tidy up trick, pay cheque and haircut.

1. To make tidying up before a viewing easier, we've left space in one of the under-bed drawers. I throw in loose clothes from the bedroom and personal items from the bathroom and I'm glad not to think about them until it's time to put our home back the way it was. 2. A pay cheque comes in the post. 3. I have a haircut and feel much better for it.

Stop, a treat and good work.

1. I am having a frustrating day. It feels good to admit defeat, to stop work and play a bit of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess . 2. Nick comes home bearing a bag of goodies from Lush . We add a bath night on to our weekend plan; and spend some time poring over Lush Times, the catalogue so we know what we'd like to try next -- Lovely Jubblies décolletage cream is high on the list. 3. To receive an email saying "Good job".

Shopping, beauty and growing.

1. My mother-in-law to-be and I go shopping for her wedding outfit. It's pleasing to see her have a break for all her caring duties. I hope she enjoyed it: I always feel a bit shy around her. It's lucky we're both so fond of Nick, because it gives us something to talk about. 2. I had a facial yesterday at The Holistic Health Centre . It must look strange to see that in among the posts about job hunting and signing on; but I do want to have glowing skin on our wedding day, and the massage makes me feel so much better. Plus Sandra always shares some wisdom while she works. We talked about how important it is to keep to the path, and remember what you are really trying to achieve. 3. The smell of germinating mustard and cress seeds: wet and peppery. I like to see the tiny changes that happen each day. Picture of cress from Stock.xchg
