High seas, strange vegetables and rescue.

1. The weatherman mentioned that the blustery weather we're having is the tail-end of the American and Caribbean hurricanes.

2. White tomato. It's quite mild and tastes faintly of parsley.

3. I got stranded after a meeting in a village outside town so Paul V came and rescued me.

  1. The time a poor student woman came into the office trying to sell art, and you strung her along by saying how wonderful all the pieces were, and then baulked at the price, and then suggested paying her an insulting pittance.

    That was NOT beautiful.

  2. Edwhinge,

I'd like to point out that I *asked* her how much her pictures were before she started, and she wouldn't tell me. If she had, I would have told her I didn't have £60 to spend on reproduction paintings. But she didn't and so wasted her time and ours. A valuable lesson learnt.
