Back, to the station and return.

1. A small talk question on the final day of the conference, a gentle enquiry -- 'what work are you going back to?' -- helps me to turn my face towards home.

2. I recognise my booked taxi by the driver's silhouette, and through the magic of a sign-up sheet, I  have acquired two other passengers the share the journey.

3. I make a stupid joke and get an extra squeezy hug from Nick because he is glad I've come home.
