Watering, anime and prints.

1. I do my watering and at teatime the sky squeezes out a few scattered raindrops as a sulky response.

2. We escape for half an hour into the pale low-stakes world of the anime Frieren.

3. He is astonished by my shoebox of prints in their bright photo lab envelopes. 'Should we be touching them?' he wants to know. I explain that they're nothing special; just a memory prompt for me with no meaning for anyone else. 'You'll put them all in the bin when I die,' I tell him.
