Bub, evidence and shortcuts.

1. There are two mothers nursing in the coffee shop.

2. They gave us Alec's nursery folder to take home -- they record things he does as evidence to show he is reaching the milestones on a government framework. It sounds terribly dry, but it's full of photos and craft. The short accounts of his doings please me very much. My favourite was from April (so well before Bettany arrived). It describes him carrying a doll round on his hip as he played, pausing from time to time to ask 'baby' if he was OK.

3. A quick and simple lunch of pasta with sauce from a jar.
