New potatoes, mint and manicure.

1. I've lifted the last of the potatoes and the garden now looks rather empty. 

2. I have a bunch of fresh mint for the noodle salad Nick is making for supper.

3. As bribe for compliancy and as a way of getting her nails clean after an evening of archaeology, I agree to do Bettany a manicure. We spend a pleasant twenty minutes with warm water, a nail brush, a buffer and a file.
