Tomorrow, us together and draw the curtain.
1. I wake up and give Nick a poke on the shoulder. "We're getting married tomorrow."
2. I'm so glad we had a lie in: after 10 o' clock, the phone doesn't stop ringing.
3. I like to go into the spare room, draw the curtain and put the light on, ready for a guest.
4. My chief bridesmaid Louise drives down out of the dark, and the party is complete.

May I be the first blogger to congratulate you both on the eve of your wedding! Here's to many happy years together. I have enjoyed reading tidbits about your everyday pleasures and the preparations for your wedding. I am so happy for you both!
ReplyDeleteI wish you many man y blessings, cherished moments and understanding love - ALWAYS sandy
ReplyDeleteI got married 3 weeks ago and I promise you, you will never have felt anything quite like that before. Meg on a practicle wedding discribed it as feeling trancendent and I have to agree that is the best word for it. I would wish you luck, but you don't need it, you won't notice anything that goes wrong and at the end of the day you will be married to the man you love and amongst the people you hold dearest. Enjoy it, it is over far too soon! Jo (one of your shadow readers!)
