3. A crow watches the collared doves. A mean boss on a warm Friday afternoon.

    This is a poetic trio Clare. Any of these could work well in the haiku spirit, especially the juxtaposition in #3. Since I've been writing 3BT's every day I've noticed so many times when they've overlapped with my haiku writings. It's a great way to pay attention to things that might slip away.
