1. Alec goes to sleep very early which means I can eat supper with Nick. It feels so good to have a chat and a catch-up.
2. To sit in the front room as it gets dark and consume a few poems from Sarah's book for May. It feels like eating a few chocolates without sharing.
3. I spotted a Cadbury's Caramel egg in the back of the cupboard last night. No-one has claimed it so I've eaten it.
Number three made me laugh. I hide my chocolate sometimes, to make it go further, then forget where I hid it. It's even more delicious when I find it.
ReplyDeleteWhat is your current book of poems. I love poetry and am reading a fantastic two part biography of Coleridge, whom I didn't really "get" at school, but am fascinated by him now. I enjoy trying to "tease out" the meaning of a poem. Warmest Wishes,
Alison
