Beautiful day, captive cloud and tiny chocs.

1. I am woken by Katie telling me it's a beautiful day.

2. The coffee pot is warmed and a captive cloud of steam is sitting in the bottom, making it look like a beaker from a mad scientist's lair.

3. Emily brings a box of tiny chocolates, and a packet of custard creams to eat with our tea.

  1. My beautiful thing for the day is seeing a little boy, about 5 years old, being dropped off by his mum...wearing his pyjamas, dressing gown and slippers! And the lack of embarrassment he showed when I said good morning to them!
I think we all long for the days when our, albeit disapproving, Mums let us go out shopping in our fairy princess outfit or spider man fancy dress!

  2. I never seen anything like this before. Maybe I should start doing something like this.

I know one of mine from yesterday would have to be being able to play basketball outside for the first time in months.

  3. I love the three beautiful things idea. Very nice!

  4. I like how you encapsulate so many memories in only 3 short paragraphs.
