Cucumber, after work and fascinator.

1. I pick my first cucumber. When I slice it, a halo of silver dew drops appears around its circumference.

2. A friend calls wondering if I'm still looking for work. I say 'yes' (a bit too quickly) to her offer of a day's proofreading.

3. My mother has bought a feathery fascinator to wear at our wedding, and so pleased with herself that she's refusing to take it off.

  1. My Mum did this too... She is getting so excited I think she might not make it to the big day in October. I'm glad she is so happy about it though. I'm glad your Mum is feeling the same way.

Thanks for the heads-up on the ukleles; they're wonderful to watch too, there are some good videos of them on Youtube; I'd love to see them live.
