Jiggery pokery, oatcakes and finished.

1. I like calling a tech support line and being taught a cunning trick -- ordinary buttons and switches can be made to do something magic if pressed in the right way.

2. An oatcake and honey.

3. Tying off the loose threads in my first typing glove. Can't wait to start work on the second one. It will be a lot better because I'll know what mistakes to avoid. It's made from Aragon Yarns, by the way.

  1. Typing glove? What is a typing glove? Is it knitted?

  3. When it is so cold that I have to wear gloves to type, I'm not typing! But actually, they're very... very... very... um... Okay. They're odd.

  5. Carolina Moon -- can't stop writing just because the temperature drops! 3BT doesn't write itself, and nor will that radio play. I'm a professional, me.

I'm sitting still, which doesn't help me stay warm. I can stay alert in a cold room; it's better for my skin and it's better for our heating bills -- so I tend to bundle myself up, rather than put the heating on. I'd normally be wearing three layers, a dressing gown and woolly hat.
