Clean teeth, new sounds and in the light.

1. Finding my toothbrush and toothpaste when I thought they had been left behind.

2. Waking up and hearing birdsong.

3. At our office Christmas do, looking down the darkened dining room and seeing Jason and Charlotte sitting in a spot light.

    I once had a flat that backed up to a heath but had a very busy motorway in the front. I could wake at dawn and drown in the waves of birdsong, but by 7 am or so it was the sound of cars that would follow me through the day.

    This morning we woke to the sound of heavy rain, which is a bit rare where I live, especially this time of year. It's usually snow by now!
