Parents, butterscotch and pomegranets

1. Parents who are willing to give up a Christmas preparation day to help me move and who leave bottles of Champagne in the fridge.

2. Our man with a van freely offering Werthers Originals because they help with moving.

3. Oli once again cheering me up -- this time by arriving at the front door of the new flat with a pomegranet, a traditional Mediterranen housewarming gift.

I hope you have a great festive season and that your new home and the new year bring you all you wish for.

  2. What more could any of us ask for? May your new place be a refuge ... hope you still have a big, sunny window.

  5. I think you should be commended for finding three beautiful things in the midst of moving...a decidedly un-lovely thing to have to do, although the beauty in it comes out afterward as you arrange your new living areas.

  6. Hooray! I'm so pleased you have been able to move at last. You waited so patiently. I think I would have been tearing my hair out! I'm glad your moving day went well (apologies for being so hungover I was unable to be of use on the day). I hope Katie's move goes just as well today. Looking forward to seeing you both later,

    Love Lou XXX
