Slurp, greens and

There is a new post over at 12 Old Masters. Go over and check it out, and please leave a comment.

1. He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named has some toffee. He eats it with contented sucking noises.

2. There is asparagus, and we eat it out of the pan, dipping the spears into butter on a saucer.

3. It's cold for May. I like pulling my covers up over my ears and snuggling down between piles of pillows.

  1. Nice to appreciate a bit of cool after soa long dry and unseasonally warm spell....

  2. Asparagus in butter sounds lovely. My mum despises asparagus and refuses to even have it in the house so I never had it as a child. You can tell when mum's feeling particularly affectionate for my father when she cooks it for him, as she can't bear the smell. I don't think he knew that until I told him a few years ago.

  3. We eat asparagus here dipped in mayonnaise. Well, ok, Kathy does. I tend to eat it on its own.
