Catch-up, circus and telling about it.

1. A chance to catch up with He Who Shall Not Be Named. 'And what's happened to...' 'You've heard about...' 

2. We think we've had enough Mela, and are taking a walk around before we go home. But then we spot some movement under the arch of scaffolding poles and bright fabric. An Indian circus is started up, and we are mesmerised by dancers manipulating bicycle wheels and spinning tops and dancing on beds of nails and sword blades. There is a slack-line, and a stilt-walker with stilt and a weightlifter who picks up a boulder using only his eyelashes. We are completely amazed and mesmerised for a good half hour.

3. We come home out of the bright sun to our cool house and find my parents on the phone to Alec, which means we can tell them all about the Indian circus.
